At the meeting, the Speakers discussed two topics: first, the security situation in our region, including the situation in Ukraine, as well as illegal migration and the protection of the Schengen area; followed by the energy crisis and its European solutions.

The regional cooperation of the four countries over the past 30 years has enabled us to represent our common interests while bridging ideological differences. The remarks made by the Speakers of the Parliaments of the Czech Republic with respect to our country are untrue and lack respect, they do not reflect the facts and call into question the right of the Hungarian government to shape its policies in the Hungarian national interest.
